Edward Vince’s practice begins with carefully selected collections of found objects, artefacts, and imagery, brought together with his own photography and writing.
Drawing on his background as an advertising Creative Director, Vince explores the complex intersections of globalisation, manufacturing, consumerism, and the emotional and physical effects of life under contemporary capitalism.
His sculptural works act as visual allegories, reflecting on society’s uneasy relationship with consumption and waste. Through thoughtful transformation of materials, Vince gives new meaning to what has been discarded— offering a possibility that, like these reimagined objects, we too might find more thoughtful, sustainable ways of living beyond the systems that currently define us.
